Ten Things That Never Happened, Alexis Hall I liked this one so much I’m reading it twice in one year. Get the audiobook. I’m sure the book is delightful, but the narrator is an absolute joy. It’s a fun gay male romance with a million delightful side characters and lots of stuff about what makes
- What to Expect from a Writing Workshop
This year, I attended two SFFH writing workshops, simultaneously: Mary Robinette Kowal’s Short Story Cohort, and Taos Toolbox 2024. One was remote, twelve weeks long, and one was in-person and two weeks long. Both aimed to turn me and a handful of other folks into better, more professional writers of science fiction, fantasy, and horror.

This coming Friday, March 31, I’ll be doing art stuff! The good folks at OT Circus & Curious Toast are hosting Project Poetry, a poetry reading and art market. I’ll be participating in both: Market! Selling my zines & poetry books 5-9 pm, outdoors 709 Central Ave SW, downtown Albuquerque Poetry reading! Reading poems! 6:15-8:15
