Handwriting.
This morning I worked on the very last of the handwritten poems from my kickstarter (I had permission from the recipient to wait until we bought a house together, so.)
The process of making these handwritten poems involves rather a lot more math than I anticipated–drawing a pencil layout first, then penciling in the words, then inking over them. I thought when I offered this reward that it would be a satisfying change from working digitally, but it turns out I hate it. The struggle not to be a perfectionist is mighty–I'm used to a computer creating perfect lines, perfectly distanced, and easy to alter.
Spoiled, I guess. Lesson learned for next time, though.
